| Bio: | Yes, I am a pirate two hundred years too late. The cannons don't thunder there's nothin' to plunder I'm an over forty victim of fate. All right here I am, I’m just going to put it out here, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Let’s start with the Bad, mix in the Good and I may just leave the Ugly out all together. OK, here goes, in no particular order. So far I have not been very lucky in love. I am recently divorced and not for the first time. I won’t play the blame game, although I guess I could. I smoke too much especially when I am nervous, but I am going to try and stop. I am... really... I am. I will have a drink every now and then, but alcohol is not one of the vices I have ever had to struggle with. I sometimes use curse words, but I try to limit them to their appropriate usage. I can be brutally honest and often that gets me in trouble. I have strong opinions about some things and I am not afraid to defend them, but I am not so rigid that I will not listen to others points of view and take them into consideration. I have even admitted that I was wrong a few times...I have...really... I have. I can be insecure about some things and over confident about others. I don’t make huge amounts of money, but I do OK, I work hard, I earn an honest living and I manage what I do make pretty darn good. I value the simple things in life, a tender kiss, a sweet smile, a “I’m thinking about you” from someone that really is, someone wanting to hold my hand or take my arm...you know what I mean just simple things. I can’t fix your car, but I make it a point to know a good honest mechanic that can. I coached girls fast pitch softball for 11 years. I learned a new meaning to the word patience. I am the most at peace when I am near water. I find the ocean irresistible. There are times that I can almost feel it calling me and I have to pack up my camping gear, head south and answer it’s call. The river, a small creek or even the sound of rain will have the same effect. I love to travel. I have spent some time in London. I have seen a good bit of the good ole U.S.A. and I have been all over the Caribbean. Jamaica a couple of times, St. Martian, Grand Caymen, St. Thomas, St.John, Cozumel. I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map so it won't fall down. I treasure children, from infants to young adults. I have raised what I think is now the most wonderful young women alive. She is now 22 years old, graduated from The University of Alabama, Suma Cum Laude and has grown into a woman that I am so very proud of. While I am proud of all of her honors, awards and academic achievements the thing that I am the most proud of is that she is a good loving person. She is the most important person in my life and I could not love her more than I do. Family is very important to me. I try to be the best father, son, brother, and uncle that I can be. My family gets along wonderfully and we get together as often as possible. Sometimes I am not as funny as I think I am, if that happens don’t get upset just give me that look and I will knock it off. I don't think I can be hypnotized. This hypnotist tried to hypnotize me one time, but he couldn't. And I tell him that each time I go over to wash his car, which is every Wednesday. OK if you are my daughter or one of her friends, please stop reading here...really...stop here I am a romantic. My libido is higher now than when I was young. With the right woman I am an attentive, tender lover, but I can be as passionate and kinky as is called for. I can kiss her softly from toes to ears or I can ..ummm...all right that's getting into the Ugly and I said I wasn’t going there. If you are my daughter or one of her friends, you may resume reading here Anyways I am pretty even tempered and laid back, but I do have “Big Steve” (I am 6’4” 235lbs) in reserve if he is needed to defend myself or loved ones or just to intimidate some asshole. I look kind of like a biker, but I have never really been drawn to motorcycles. I started loosing my hair in my mid- thirties and decided to shave it all off about five years ago. It was a good decision. I am always shocked when I realize there are women that are attracted to me because of it.. Chocolate, there are times I must have it and will get out of bed at midnight in search of it. My apartment is always clean, I am a bit compulsive about that. It is nicely decorated with artwork and antiques that I collect. It does have a very masculine ambiance to it. It does reflect me. I went to the Home Depot, which was unnecessary. I need to go to the Apartment Depot, which is just a big warehouse with a whole lot of people standing around saying, "We don't have to fix shit." My Dad taught me how to cook. I love to cook and do so often. I love Fettucini Alfredo it is macaroni and cheese for adults. I watch the Food Network. I have a crush on Rachel Ray. Isn't that silly? I have a Jack Russell named Clancy. He's my friend. I am a decent chess player and I am wicked at checkers. I wrestle with God. I know what he wants from me, but I'm not ready to give it to him. My best friend has been my best friend for 41 years. He is the brother I never had. I bet him a million dollars once when we were kids that he wouldn’t eat a grasshopper. He ate the grasshopper, but I never did give him the million dollars. As of last week, all I have given him is $6,230. I tend to ramble on in a weird stream of consciousness and I will be truly amazed if anyone will actually read this far. OK, that is probably more than anyone needs or cares to know about me. | ||
